Meet our Ghaleb

For almost 4 years ago, a completely fantastic & visionary young guy of 16 started in the woods. His father is our much-loved dishwasher in his 9th year, whom we hold in the highest regard and simply cannot do without in a busy restaurant. He was allowed to help out in the dishwashing area with his father, but on his own initiative he quickly came out on the floor as a runner – and he showed us commitment like no other.

He quickly wanted to become a waiter, so he worked his socks off to prove that he could handle that responsibility. Two years ago, Ghaleb became head waiter, and he now runs weddings, corporate parties and large birthday celebrations independently at Herthadalen and Ledreborg respectively. He is one of our many regular waiters who has provided service for lots of happy guests when the restaurant is open – and continues to do so.

At the staff party, he was voted head waiter of the year by the entire staff for the second year running – and we think that says it all. He is the restaurant's one and a kind, and we know that many of you guests know Ghaleb.
