Preben Handyman

Dear Preben – our handyman and the man who can do it all. Preben arrives long before the rest of us are up. When the morning mist still hangs low between the trees, he's already at it. Small things are sorted before anyone notices they existed. Doors that squeak, lights that play up, and solutions that just need a final touch – Preben gets it all working, so the rest of the house can wake up peacefully.

All year round, Preben looks after the forest and the house. In winter, he stands on the roof and shovels snow off the thatched house, so that it can remain healthy and strong. When spring arrives, flowers are planted in the garden, and preparations are made for a new season. Summer demands maintenance, and when autumn comes, it's Preben who blows the leaves away and prepares for another winter.

There's something immensely reassuring about having a Preben. A calm, a persistence, and an eye for detail that means we always know things are as they should be. He's one of those you might not always see – but always feel. Thank you for your huge commitment to the forest, Preben. We couldn't do it without you.
