Summer opening
Following tradition, we will be open in the restaurant this summer. Pop by for lunch or dinner. (Subject to date) – Enjoy a walk around Knapsø – Buy tasty treats to take home from the Farm Shop.
If the weather is good during the summer period, we will set the table outside on the terrace. In case of bad weather, we reserve the right to move booked tables inside the restaurant instead.
NB! For Friday Evening & Sunday Lunch, all booked tables will be located inside the restaurant. You are most welcome to enjoy coffee & cake outdoors after dinner.

Choose between: Braised Organic Ribs or Free-range chicken from Dyssegaarden with carrot tarte tatin, pickled redcurrants, caramelised onion puree & wild garlic sauce. Served with this week's green dish from Herthamarken & new potatoes with olive tapenade.

Experience the Forest
Cosy time in the woods/
As part of your summer visit, we encourage you to take some time for a pleasant little break in the countryside around Herthadalen. Conclude your visit with some time in the garden or a stroll around Knapsø. Follow the paths between the trees, feel the summer in the air and let the pace slow down – Enjoy the stillness and peace.
The summer in Herthadal invites you to stay a little longer. Sit on a bench, enjoy the view, and let the impressions sink in.
On your way back, you are welcome to pop into our cosy farm shop, where you will find local produce, seasonal flavours and small treats to take home as a continuation of your day in the woods.
