Meetings & Events in the Forest
Company events
Hold your next corporate event in natural surroundings at Herthadalen & Ledreborg Estate. Both are located in Zealand's first National Park – Skjoldungernes Land. The National Park's surroundings offer a special sense of calm and can help create a more creative and focused environment for participants.
Due to increased digitalisation, we believe there is a significant need for personal and physical meeting rooms for important strategic discussions and presentations, among other things. However, the setting for physical meetings must not be so dull and generic that it drains the participants of energy. Therefore, we have tried to create an environment that encourages more offline meetings with a focus on creativity, proximity, and direct communication.
Hold your next company event in the woods/
At Herthadalen & Ledreborg, we create environments for company events that can take the form that makes sense for you. Some seek a focused meeting with breathing room. Others wish to gather colleagues for a full day – or more – where professionalism, relationships, and experiences go hand in hand. Here, there is room for both.
The day can start with a meeting or conference and naturally flow into a shared dinner, informal conversation, and outdoor experiences. Other times, it's the short formats that make the difference: a working meeting, in Product presentation, in workshop or a kick-off, where the surroundings help create calm, focus, and presence.
At Ledreborg, the spaces open up even further. From gallbladder at Slotsladen Tent conferences at the Palace Square for larger corporate events, Fagot and activities where the entire castle park is brought into play.

Into the forest
Seasonal Kitchen
At Herthadalen's forest kitchen, we work based on the concept People and Meals, where local produce, quality, and organic are at the heart of it.
Our menus are inspired by the season – with greens from Herthamarken, herbs from the forest, and meat from animals that have had a good life. For us, animal welfare and taste are inextricably linked.
Meeting point with attitude
At Herthadalen, we make conscious choices – especially when it comes to what we serve our guests. For example, we use locally tapped tap water instead of expensive imported bottled water.
For us, sustainability isn't about symbolism, but about everyday action. Small choices that make sense and, all together, make a difference. We strive to be a place where responsibility, quality, and thoughtfulness go hand in hand – naturally & without pointing fingers.
SPACE FOR PROFESSIONALISM
Herthadalen and Ledreborg are located in the middle of Skjoldungernes Land National Park. The nature creates a natural transition away from everyday life and into an environment of peace, focus, and fewer distractions – ideal for strategy meetings, leadership gatherings, and relational events.
Professional framework
From the intimate meeting rooms of Herthadalen to Ledreborg Castle Barn with its large volume and flexible layout. Rooms with character and history – combined with modern facilities and practical solutions that make planning simple and execution secure.
UNIQUE MEETING ROOMS
Historic meeting rooms in the heart of the National Park. Here, the air doesn't smell of whiteboards and markers, but of trees and soil. In the forest, there are no noisy cars – only the sound of the wind in the treetops and birdsong. Nature isn't just close by – it's part of the experience.
Scalable Company Events
We handle both small meetings and large corporate events. Rooms, flow and setup can be adapted to participant numbers, agenda and ambition level – from 20 participants to several hundred – without compromising on atmosphere or quality.

Experience the Forest Kitchen
As a prospective customer, you are always welcome to drop by and experience the forest kitchen when the restaurant is open on selected days. Here you can get a feel for the atmosphere, the food and the hospitality – and feel what Herthadalen is like when the place is buzzing.
We do not offer trial dinners, but a visit to the restaurant will give you a good insight into our approach to ingredients, taste and the pace at which we work. An informal way to get to know the kitchen and the venue, before you decide.
