Forest breaks
Team building & activities
We have put together a range of recommended activities that fit well into the framework at both Herthadalen and Ledreborg. Experiences rooted in nature and shared presence – from foraging tours with Unik Gindestillering, focusing on the scents and tastes of the forest, to breathwork and ice baths, which provide a clear mental and physical shift in the meeting day.
For those who would like more active elements, there's the option of clay pigeon shooting or archery, for example. The activities can be included as a social break, a common meeting point, or a standalone element that creates movement and shared experiences.
All activities will be agreed and coordinated directly between you and the individual partner, so that content, format and execution can be tailored to your needs, participant list and the day's schedule. Other desired activities are of course also welcome, the following should simply be seen as inspiration for activities.
BREATHWORK
This isn't about standard solutions, but about creating frameworks where people can meet in new ways. The experiences can be calm and sensory, or more active and energetic – always with nature as the common focal point.
Duration: As desired
Participants: 5+ people

Mindfulness
Boost well-being and performance in a busy everyday life with a workshop that provides you with concrete and usable tools. With breathing as the focal point, you will work on focus, mindset, and stress management – through simple methods that are easy to integrate into daily life.
The workshop combines knowledge of the nervous system and performance with practical exercises that can be felt – both individually and in the team. The focus here is on creating real change, not just insight.
The content will be tailored to your needs and can be held both on-site and off-site. If you wish to take the experience a step further, the workshop can be combined with ice baths, where you will work on understanding and managing pressure in a new and constructive way.
Duration: As desired
Participants: 5+ people

Fencing
Even when putting on the fencing gear, most people unconsciously change their behaviour and posture. Their backs straighten. Their movements become different. Concentration and focus sharpen. Fencing is an activity that has an effect on most people – and that makes an impression.
Provision is made for organisation from start to finish, and professional fencing attire in various sizes, foils, gloves, helmets, and chest protectors will be brought. Fencing can be conducted both indoors and outdoors.
Duration: 30-180 mins. (as desired)
Participants: 3-120+ people

GPS TEAM WALK
You compete to collect as many points as possible by solving a series of tasks together. The teams follow each other (possibly via an app) while one or more instructors facilitate small mini-competitions at selected locations in the local area.
Competitions are held in exercises and activities where communication, strategy and collaboration are the focus. Part of the content focuses on the “Get to know” element, so you also get to know new sides of each other (and perhaps yourselves).
Duration: 30-180 min (as desired)
Participants: 20-400 people

LASER SKEET SHOOTING
An activity that everyone can (and dares to) participate in. Instead of firing real cartridges, a rifle with a built-in laser is used for aiming and firing.
Clay pigeons are shot at, which have a built-in sensor. The pigeons are not destroyed when hit, but the hit is registered via the sensor. Laser clay pigeon shooting requires no prior shooting experience, and both beginners and experienced shooters can participate.

Get ready to unleash your inner Robin Hood with a fun archery activity. Archery is a fascinating sport that combines technique, concentration, and precision.
With roots stretching back thousands of years, archery has become a modern activity that challenges both mind and body. Archery requires no prior knowledge, and everyone will be able to participate in the activity.

Marbles
The aim is to build and construct the absolute longest ball run on which a glass marble can roll. Each team will be given a starter pack with a set of rules, design paper, initial building materials, and envelope tasks.
A brilliant plan needs to be conceived for how precisely your marble run should look, but you'll quickly discover that the items you need to purchase are extremely expensive. Therefore, in true team-building style, you'll need to go out and complete collaborative tasks to earn dollars.
Duration: 180 minutes (can be adjusted as desired)
Participants: Min. 2 teams

Drainage department
Can you and your colleagues solve a murder mystery that has occurred in the forest? Suddenly, you find yourselves in the middle of a dramatic case where a person has been found dead – at your place. Soon, you are all part of the investigation, and nothing is quite as it seems.
You are thrown straight into the role of investigators when the Homicide Department moves in. A murder has been committed at the scene, and clues, witnesses, and mysterious events must be investigated. You will be divided into teams and work your way through the case by analysing evidence, interrogating suspects, and piecing together the puzzle.
As you progress, new information emerges and theories are challenged. Who is telling the truth – and who is hiding something? Collaboration, sharp observation and logical thinking are key to getting to the bottom of the case.
Duration: 120-180 minutes (can be adjusted as desired)
Participants: Min. 2 teams

Storytelling in the woods
Book a special guided tour
There are many options for activities in the National Park all year round, and we have several historical gems within easy reach. Herthadalen is surrounded by protected forest and unique wildlife and holds a large amount of Danish cultural heritage.
With Ledreborg Manor and Sagnlandet Lejre as your closest neighbours, there's also an opportunity to integrate historical and cultural elements into your meeting day.
A tour of Ledreborg Castle or a guided experience in Sagnlandet adds an extra dimension and gives participants something to unite them – even after the day has ended.
