Birkestuen

Birkestuen can accommodate 20-60 people at round tables and is part of the Main House, which is divided for guests under 60 people (though not for weddings). Birkestuen has its own large terrace with a view of Knapsø, where it can be arranged for both welcome drinks and subsequent coffee to be served and enjoyed.

With a great fondness for the National Park that surrounds us, we have chosen a consistent Nordic aesthetic for Birkestuen and, among other things, integrated birch trees into the room's interior. A bright function room from which the surrounding nature can easily be incorporated and enjoyed by simply opening the doors – and stepping out onto the room's own terrace.

Birkestuen is not rented out separately (without food & drink).

Birkestuen is a bright and peaceful room where the atmosphere quickly settles. Here there is space to be together – without distractions – and let presence take over.

INTIMATE RAM/

The venue is particularly well-suited for smaller gatherings, where conversations can take their time. There is a natural tranquility here, making it easy to slow down.

SIMPLE AESTHETIC

The decor is in a light, Nordic style with a focus on bright materials and a subdued overall feel. A room that isn't loud – but makes space for what matters.

CLOSE TO GREEN

With nature just outside the windows, the forest becomes a quiet part of the experience. The light, the view and the tranquility come inside, creating a fine connection between the inside and the outside.

Premises in the forest

FROM INTIMATE TO GRAND

Herthadalen offers several different settings – from intimate lounges to grand halls. Each location has its own character, special qualities, and capacity. In addition to the Main House, you can hold your celebrations in the Orangery with a view of the sky, or in the Forest Tent, where nature is brought very close.

Whether you are hosting many guests or wish for more of a castle-like atmosphere, we also have access to the grand halls at Ledreborg Palace.
