The living room

The lounge can accommodate 30-70 people at round tables and is part of the Main House, which is divided if there are fewer than 60 guests (except for weddings). The lounge has its own large terrace with a view of Knapsø, which is ideal for enjoying a welcome drink upon arrival or coffee after dinner.

The living room's uncompromising aesthetic has been meticulously crafted with significant reference to the surrounding National Park, and integrated through the use of, among other things, timber from local producers. A bright reception room from which the surrounding nature can easily be incorporated and enjoyed, simply by opening the doors – and stepping out onto the venue's own terrace.

The lounge is not rented out separately (without food & drink).

LIGHT & NATURAL FRAME

The sitting room is a bright space, where the surrounding nature is brought into the room. There is a sense of lightness in the atmosphere, and a natural calm that quickly settles in.

Aesthetics from the woods

The interior design is based on materials and tones from the surrounding area – including wood from local producers. A space where the aesthetic feels honest, calm and rooted in its location.

OWN TERRACE & VIEW

The lounge has direct access to its own terrace overlooking Knapsø. This is the perfect spot to start with a welcome drink or retreat to for coffee, while letting the day continue outdoors.

CLOSE TO GREEN

With nature just outside the windows, the forest becomes a quiet part of the experience. The light, the view and the tranquility come inside, creating a fine connection between the inside and the outside.

Premises in the forest

FROM INTIMATE TO GRAND

Herthadalen offers several different settings – from intimate lounges to grand halls. Each location has its own character, special qualities, and capacity. In addition to the Main House, you can hold your celebrations in the Orangery with a view of the sky, or in the Forest Tent, where nature is brought very close.

Whether you are hosting many guests or wish for more of a castle-like atmosphere, we also have access to the grand halls at Ledreborg Palace.
